Alight Motion video editing tutorial

Alight Motion is a great video editing software that you can use to make videos with your own photos and videos. It has a simple interface, and it’s easy to learn how to use it. If you want to learn more about how Alight Motion works, check out these video tutorials!

• Adding video clips to the timeline.

• To add a video clip:

Open up the project window and drag it from there into your timeline. This can be done by either clicking on one of your clips or by holding down Shift and dragging across multiple clips in succession. You’ll know when you’re over a clip because it will display green text around its edges, saying “Clip Added” or whatever text is appropriate for that particular type of clip (for example, if you have an image file attached to a movie clip, then clicking on that file would display “Image” instead).

If you want more than one instance of this same kind of video–say two different images but both created using Adobe Photoshop–then just click on another location within your timeline where you want to place this new instance before doing step 2 again!

Trimming video clips in the timeline is a simple process. All you need to do is drag the playhead back and forth on the time line, or use the trim tool (which can be found in your keyboard shortcut menu).

To delete a video clip from the timeline, select it and press Delete. The clip will be deleted from the timeline.

To change between edit modes, click the buttons on the toolbar. They are labeled: Cut, Join and Split.

Cut mode allows you to cut clips from a timeline. The clip will be deleted from its parent sequence and placed at the beginning of your new sequence. You can also use this option when creating new clips by pressing “Ctrl+X” (Mac) or “Cmd+X” (Windows).

Join mode allows you to join two clips together so they appear as one in your project timeline. This will cut any unused parts of each clip out of their original sequences and replace it with whatever is left over in your project timeline after joining them together.

Alight Motion allows you to change the speed of your video clips by using the speed slider. The speed slider is located in the bottom-right corner of the timeline, and it will allow you to quickly change how fast or slow a clip plays. You can also use one of two buttons on this bar: “slow motion” or “fast forward.” Using either button will decrease or increase how fast your footage plays back at, respectively. These two options are useful if there are certain parts of your video that need more attention than others—like when someone is speaking—and want them played slower than other parts so they are easier to hear over their speechless co-stars (like animals).

Now that you have a video and audio file, it’s time to add them together.

First, open up the Audio tab in Alight Motion’s timeline. Select your audio track from the drop-down menu on the left side of this pane; this will display all of your sounds—including any imported sound files or previously edited clips with effects added (if you were using those). You can also click “Add New” at the bottom right corner if you want to import new sounds here before moving onto editing them further into your project later on!
